Things have been hectic of late. With election day fast approaching (two of them, actually), I'm hard at work cutting webisodes of TimTV Season 2. Instead of a day-to-day campaign journal, season 2 consists of candid interviews with Councillor Tim Outhit and ordinary Bedford citizens, shot against a clean white backdrop. I've fired off three episodes to date. More will go online over the next week or so.
Check out TimTV at BedfordLeader.com.
I've also joined the spirited indie crew shooting The Lot, a mockumentary about a zany group of used car salesman. The project is headed by an old friend, Chad Lindsay, and Karan Sidhu. The shoot couldn't be much more ghetto/guerrila, which is perfect for the subject matter. We shot some establishing shots and random improv pieces last Sunday. We'll get into the meat of the story this weekend. I'm DOP/camera operating for the shoot and will edit the show, which is expected to clock in at around 40 minutes.
Between film gigs, I've signed on as a freelance writer and photographer for the Chronicle Herald's advertising features department. I submitted my first article and photo last week. Nothing's been published, but my work must have satisfied; they gave me another assignment.
